My friend Katrina is such a good mother.
And by good I mean great.
For her daughter's 11th Birthday party she told her to pick 5 friends.Then she went to the mall to pick out a special present for each of the girls.
Once she picked the girls up on the day of the party she took them to the mall and gave them clues to lead them to their gifts.
Each girl got a present.Isn't that a fantastic way to party?The girls had a great time at the party.
After the search for their gift was over the girls got to enjoy cake and snacks in the food court.I had a great time capturing the girls party.It was an honor.

Loved the mannequin shot... too funny. My daughter had a party at the mall too, it was a lot of fun.
That is a nice way for an eleven year old to celebrate her birthday with her friends. The photos show they had fun goofing around and enjoying their time together.

I love the shot of the girls in the elevator and also the one of them all in the shop window. I think those 2 shots capture the joy of this outing more than any of the others... well they do for me.

And a total blast was had by all .... great idea. A friend of mine has often taken a small group to a local hotel (they get room service, swim in the pool ,flail around in the gym, watch movies ..). Easy for her to boot as she's always so busy with work.
