The expressions that you captured are so varied and fabulous! Isn't it funny how babies are afraid of cake? Like there's a great big cake monster hiding inside! Wait.. maybe all those years of Sesame Street.... and the Cookie Monster... nah. Not possible. But all of their little lives spent hearing momma say "NO...don't touch that!" "NO... hands off!"... now THAT might be part of the problem! I love this photoshoot and the sequence.. well done!

Gorgeous! :-) My mum always tells this story about me, as a one-year-old at a birthday party, for another one-year-old, put my face into the birthday cake... What did they expect, when they put it right in front of me???? Loved cake ever since!
Love the look of skepticism in her face in the photos midway through the series. It's like a glimpse into the future when (like my 8-year-old) eating cake and other sweets becomes a big no no. Who knew it happened so quickly?
