What to do on days when the temperature is 94 degrees:
Find your goggles!
Take a deep breath and dive in!

We loved welcoming Summer this weekend.
We prayed for our soldiers.
We thanked the people we know who have served.
We swam and swam and swam.
Is Memorial Day weekend your first swim of the year?
Link up! Pretty please?

We went to the lake... It was warm outside, but the water was still freezing. I'll link up later when I get a blog entry all figured out.

You just reminded me...I need to go buy goggles! Of course my kids always seem to lose them sometime between the last swim of the summer and the first swim of the next year. That photo with the close up of the hair...super fabulous!
We haven't had our first swim of the year, but I am definitely looking forward to hitting the pool with Benjamin as soon as he is big enough! We have an indoor pool in the apartment and I love to swim, so I think we'll be spending lots of time there.
Great pictures once again!
How funny, my kids went swimming at a friends house too!!!
Goodness, Shoshi's lashes are so long that they cast shadows on his cheeks! I want lashes like his!!
Lovely pics, Becky! :)
Great pictures....94 degrees WOW! No swimming here it really never gets hot enough to want to swim. In two years here my daughter swam once. Our home in Utah we have a pool I miss it so much but also miss the 90 degree days. It's gorgeous today...I hope my elderly neighbors aren't out in their Euro bikini's! Yikes! Have a great Tuesday!
Oh, what a lovely 'today'! True summer *sigh* . Here, if we're lucky, we might be able to brave the water closer to the end of June...'brave' being the key word there ;D
Happy Tuesday!
Looks like fun. We stayed home. I'm still recooping and the lake was too busy for a bass fisherman. LOL
I love that last photo with the water droplets dripping down his beautiful face.
I am glad the boys had fun in the pool!
The girls swam yesterday too, but it was not our first 'swim' of the year...we start much earlier than you.
Suz
pool slides are the best :)
The first picture shows such joy! And of course the water droplets on the last pic are priceless. Swimming wasn't possible here as we are now entering our cooler and rainier time of year, and Memorial Day weekend was much cooler and wetter than anyone anticipated in Central America.
Okay, so I'm envious. We've had one day touch 70 so far. I'm ready for summer!
94? Really?? I would be happy to hit 65 and have it be sunny, not all the rain we have been stuck with here! :)
Beautiful, Beautiful shots!!!
Your subjects are growing and growing. Every time I see them they look bigger. How does that happen???
Don't you just love the sun? Much more fun then the freezing snow to me.
It's been a busy couple of weeks. Thank you so much for coming by the other day:) I always love to hear from you.
Great post - great pics! We went to the beach - I am THANKFUL the Georgia coast is still healthy and oil-free.... I watched dolphins play in the waves and was sad for their "brothers and sisters" in the Gulf. I really noticed the healthy green marsh and was thankful for it.
And of course, we were thankful for those who gave their lives in service to our country.
These children and their amazing eyelashes. I'm so jealous. Mine are starting to turn grey...
I always say, "I love this country!"
And, I am very thankful and proud of the brave women and men who serve in our armed forces.
Yes, two of my kids took their first dip in the neighborhood pool yesterday! :)
That's the perfect way to do it!
Looks awesome! I just love warm weather! For some reason we can never find the goggles though, LOL.
Wonderful photos! And the pool is so empty! We avoided the pool this weekend because of the crowds.
94 degrees?! ALREADY!??!? horrors! a pool is the place to be in that kind of weather!
94?!?! It's been hot here, but not that hot, YET. Very humid, too. I dislike humid!! My kids have been begging to go to the pool every. single. day. since school got out. We go, but not EVERY DAY! I'll be glad when they're old enough to walk there by themselves (we live about 8 houses away -- YAY!)
Lovely summer shots!!!
I had linked up but apparently don't know what I'm doing so removed it. lol!
We swam every day!
That diving photo is AMAZING! I miss swimming. Im to scared to go into the water now..especially when people are around..lol
The weather here has been blistery hot for a while now, so we've been swimming for at least a month ... but the fun of it never wears off.
Your pool looks so cool!
Great pics! Our pool is still green. I'm working on it...
We swam on Sunday for the first time this year. It was a little cold at first, but like you we were having mid-90s weather, and very quickly the pool felt very good!
Happy Summer!
i'm jealous. it's sooo warm from where your from!
I'm still wearing rainboots and a trenchcoat and scarves right now in Vancouver!
