So, here is the big announcement:
I Heart Faces is hosting Photo Walks
all around the country on Saturday, June 5.
Angie asked me if I would be a leader in Philadelphia.
I was super nervous and I had to think about it for a few hours.
Or a day.
{Something like that}
In the end, I decided it would be a wonderful thing
to meet photographers from this area.
I contacted some of my super amazing photographer friends,
and with their help,
I know it is going to be a spectacular day.
It is rich with history and detail.
The fantastic children’s toy store, O’Doodles
is going to allow us to use their toys as props
and they are also going to supply
a Cat in the Hat model!
How great is that?
We are also going to be shooting at
Christ Ascension Lutheran Church,
which was built in 1869.
It is stunning.
We are going to have additional models.
A delicious baby,
A sweet 8 year old,
2 high fashion models,
and a Bride!
If you are hoping to portfolio build
this will be a fantastic opportunity.
One thing I know for sure:
We will have fun.

Never been on a photo walk but it sounds wonderful. Years ago we lived in NJ and took a high speed train into Philadelphia occasionally as that was where my then husband worked. I have always admired the history and beauty of Philadelphia.
I JUST realized that!I have ALREADY emailed My Two Seasons! i had no idea she was from Boise! Small world! Yeah I am so excited! I will look into signing up for sure! Thanks for letting me know
I do photo walks around my house - I am alert to so much more beauty when I have my camera along.

Pat's, Geno's and Chi Town are great places in Philly. There is so much historic places to see there too.

How exciting! I have been on one photowalk and that was in Nashville after Blissdom with Amy & Angie (and others). I was freezing cold but very fun!

Not only have I never been on a photo walk, I've never even HEARD of a photo walk. I am so anxious to come back and see all about it in June!
