Birthday Week.

This is a good time for Birthday week.

Doesn't EVERYONE you know

have a Birthday in May?
It's crazy : ).

Crazy, I tell you.

I actually made Kaishon

and my sweet little nephew Ben

put on Birthday hats

and pretend to blow out candles : )

But in the end, I decided,

to go ahead and go with one of my

favorite Birthday shots

of Kaish and Sabria from January.

It's not technically a good picture.

But, I think that is the greatest thing

about it.

Everything doesn't have to be

technically PERFECT

in order to be beautiful!

Don't ever think your pictures

aren't perfect just because other people

don't always love them.

If you love them,

well, then,

that really is the most important thing : ).

Bikini Bodies!

How much does focusing on weight

affect your daily life?

When I was born
The Dr. told my Mom
I would probably never be able to wear a bikini.
My Mom was delighted!
(She is VERY conservative
And just doesn’t think girls

should EVER wear bikinis)
The Dr. didn’t say I would

never be able to wear a bikini
because he could tell that
I was going to grow up horribly round-
But rather because of a birth mark

on my back and side.
I have never worn a bikini.
I probably never will.
But I assure you the birthmark

would be the LEAST of my worries.
Me in a bikini would be frightening-
On so many levels…
But, this brings me to the point of this post!
Did you know I actually had points in my posts?
Any who, the thing I can NOT stand
Is Mommys who don’t take their kids to the pool
Because of how they look.
GET OVER YOURSELF.
I don’t care if you are Hot, Hot, Hot!
Or if you are Round as a Beach Ball.
No one cares about how you look in a suit.
No one.
So stop being a creep-a-zoid and go to the pool.
Your kid will love it.
Go get a cover up.
Go get a tan.
Go get a diet.
Just do something and take your kid to the pool.
This is my public service announcement for the week.

With one of Those mothers.
I think the reason I am a little annoyed about this
And thinking about it EVERY DAY
Is because the mother weighs about 110 pounds.
Or less.

It is so nice to have off on Memorial Day!

It is great to be with family and have a picnic!

It is a priveledge and an honor to celebrate the lives of soldiers.

I am so thankful for all they do for us.

Is there any one in the world who doesn't like books?

Now, I know,

I know you are probably thinking

this book has been out

for a million years.

And it has.

I am always late.

It was so good though-

I simply had to say a little something.

A little something like

I could NOT put it down.

It gave me chills.

I was in awe.

It made me think and laugh and pray.

It was SO great.

If you haven't read it

I am positive you will LOVE it.

Unless you are my Mom.

(My Mom, who is SO splendid,

but does NOT like books with

any sex or violence.)

It does have those things.

But just a tiny bit.

And lets face it:

Real life has those things..

Now I need a new book,

since I read that in less than 24 hours.
